There are many ways to help prevent suicide in your local community. Attend a training, volunteer for a local organization, or attend an event such as a walk/run to raise awareness.
Under The Rhode Island Governor's Council on Behavioral Health the Suicide Prevention Advisory Committee (SPAC) is a group that is shaping strategies, making connections, and providing guidance for suicide prevention partners and stakeholders. It includes members with lived experience.
